A little late in the season...appears the glassing gloves are well made.
A few years ago I was watching the ""Meat Eater"" outdoor adventurer tv show. I do not recall where they were hunting, but it was a cold hunt. I was getting cold watching when Steven Rinella pulled out a pair of scrunched-up Down Mittens out of his pack and put them on. My first thought was, I absolutely need a pair of these packable Down Mittens due to the fact, for the past 45 years of deer hunting the western end of Michigans Upper Peninsula in November, a place where it can get so cold through a days hunt, you are hoping to shoot a deer just so you can warm your hands in a deers chest cavity when you are gutting it. Thanks Steve, the only place I found a pair of lightweight premium Down filled totally packable mittens is at ""First Lite""!
These are my favorite cold weather gloves. Super warm, very packable. Great for glassing or in transit to the treestand on those frigid mornings. I've even used them to rewarm my toes in a desperate situation.
I wear these while glassing and hunting in the west region of Washington. They are great for keeping my hands warm when I'm out scouting and glassing in the mountains. They fit real good and still have great mobility.
I haven't had a chance to use these in the field yet, but have used them in the cold & they are amazing!! Nice to have a mitten for a woman's hands that will work while hunting!
