By blending some of our best features into one softshell pant, a formidable tool has been added to your kit for punching late-season tags. Removable knee pads, waterproof layering in the seat and knees, 37.5 fleece lining, and mapped brush chap panels keep you protected and comfortable from sunup to sundown, making these pants a sure bet when the conditions are anything but predictable.

This pant uses a rigid waistband with no stretch. If your waist falls close to or directly between sizes, select the next size up.

Catalyst Foundry pants

I have multiple pairs of high quality outdoor/hunting pants and these have proven to be among the best I own. The cut is super comfortable with no movement restrictions whatsoever. I have found them to stand alone in temps down to the low 40's and easily work for much colder temps (mid-high teens) with proper layering. The weight vs. temperature regulation and wind resistance is the best I have experienced in any of my gear, to the point that I purchased a second pair to change into during prolonged hunting trips if needed. I have also found these pants to be highly water resistant and dry extremely quickly, a true virtue during backcountry multi-day hunts. The suspended system is excellent and very accommodating for comfort and functionality. The only improvement I would consider would be to close off the vertical zip vents with a mesh liner to keep debris and such out. These are an excellent piece of gear that I have already recommended to many of my friends and the first piece of First Lite gear I've owned and have exceeded my expectations in every aspect! Well done First Lite and thank you for a superior product I can trust and depend on during my extended hunts and outdoor excursions !!

Performance hunting wear!!!

I use these here in North Georgia pretty much from September to November. These things are great for squirrel season deer. Pair these with the furnace base layer and you good even in late season.

I was always against the expensive brands(Sitka,FirstLite,Kuiu) But when we were hunting merriams in South Dakota we stopped into scheels and I got a pair on sale, so I tried them out and I won't goba

Horrible zippers - Poor fit

I have owned these pants for about three years now. They get used several times a year. Each time I use the I am reminded of how frustrating they are. The side zippers are near impossible to zip more than a couple inches without getting a snag. I typically wear a 36x 32 And I ordered a 38x33 the waist is tight and has absolutely no give or adjustment. The rest of the pant is extremely loose fitting making the fit very awkward.
