My husband and I both have the Vests. Mine is the one without the liner. We love all the First Lite products but find that the vests are a ""little noisy "" with movement. Works better with a layer over.

The orange is extra orangey.

I use this vest for deer hunting and upland hunting (pheasants, grouse, woodcock). In Louisiana, temps are often on the warm side, and I put this under my Orvis strap vest to hunt woodcock, as often by 11 am, I'm hunting in short sleeves. Keeps me visible, and I like the fit and feel. When deer hunting, I also like the pass through for my harness. This vest stays in my truck, and I use it all the time. Good quality, good fit, good usefulness.

Vest fits well and has good features. I'm 5' 10"" and 175lbs. I'm a M in other First Lite clothing. The M size vest fits me right. Over my cold weather gear it lays against it but doesn't need to stretch. I could get it over a more heavy weight jacket comfortably. A bit baggy if worn over just a shirt. Which is what I'd expect. If you are only going to wear it over a shirt or even a mid weight jacket I'd likely size down one size. But if wearing over a cold weather jacket and layering get the same size you wear in other First Lite clothing. Thats me. Fit is personal preference. I don't like baggy but also don't like form fitting. Though I can't imagine anyone needing to size up in this vest.
