From the archery opener in Idaho and desert aoudad in Texas to the humid evening hunts of the Carolinas, the Men's Wick Hoody is First Lite's ultralight hunting hoody designed for hot weather and high exertion. The airy 150-gram Aerowool® construction and loose-fitting hood provide breathable concealment and sun protection in the warmest conditions. This layer also features 125-gram Aerowool® mesh panels to maximize ventilation during active hunts. The Men's Wick Hoody is the new standard for quick drying, odor-resistant, ultralight base layers.

Ultralight 150 Aerowool® construction combines the finest, 17.5 micron merino wool available with 37.5-activated nylon fibers to create a super-charged fabric with incredible performance benefits. Our Wick styles also integrate 125 gram Aerowool® mesh to targeted hot-zones, which also utilizes 17.5 micron merino and 37.5-activated nylon fibers. What you get is enhanced odor resistance, exponentially improved dry times, increased durability and moisture wicking, and a fabric that can cool you down when you're heating up and warm you up when it's cooling down.

The wick hoody is a great first layer alone in hotter weather and as the sun goes down you throw a second layer on and your set highly recommend it

I love this shirt. I own several . I literally live in it the entire month of September. Perfect base layer weight for everything from hiking hard through the mountains to pulling the hood over my head when it cools down at night. Sleeve and torso length is great for long arms too. I’m 6’4” 220 and xl is perfect.

This hoody is awesome, so far its been my go-to base layer for September/October hunting in the high country of Colorado. It provides just enough warmth and breathability by itself for the early morning hikes and has held up in some nasty rain and snow storms when combined with other layers.
I tend to bounce between Medium and Large across brands and the Large is a little baggy but still looks and feels good. The hood provides a nice bit of extra insulation and wind protection when sitting around glassing.
The wool is super comfy, not quite as soft as cotton obviously but feels like a second skin after wearing it all day. It would definitely recommend!
