Sale price $133.00 Regular price$190.00

COLOR:Dry Earth
SIZE:S

Silent, odor-resistant, and comfortable from 100 degrees to late in the season, the Obsidian merino pant takes the torch from the best-selling Kanab 2.0 pant, with the fit being based on our hugely popular Corrugate Guide Pant. The Obsidian's ergonomic design and proprietary, stretch merino/nylon fabric work in conjunction to move and flex with the body and provide maximum durability, all while preserving the qualities you love about Merino. Reinforced with rip-stop nylon, these woven merino pant has no UV signature or shine and fends off odor-causing bacteria better than any synthetic. Stretch nylon panels also enhance range-of-motion and provide durability and support in high-stress areas. The Obsidian pant is equipped with detachable suspenders for a superior fit with pack or harness, and can be used with other First Lite pants. This piece is machine washable and will dry quickly over a branch or on a line. These features make the Obsidian a superior choice for a wide range of stationery and active hunting applications.

This pair of pants are by far my favorite. Very comfortable, great mobility, waistband is stretchy, I’ll be wearing these for fall bear and elk archery. True to size

Clout Pants

These pants are cool. Very cool. Black grid fabric is all the rage, and merino to boot. They fit me very well and the natural fabric give them an overall classy look -- but with a technical flair. Like, maybe I'm a field agent for the international fashion police, or something. How do they hold up though? TERRIBLE. I had very concerning pilling on the merino in the crotch area behind the small patch of synthetic fabric after ONE WEEKEND of use that included only a two hour day hike. If you take these things into the backcountry your balls might be hanging out by the end of the trip. Do I regret my purchase? No. I intend to use them as cool looking, breathable travel pants with the odor proof benefits of merino. I'm working on getting some black merino fabric patches.

Great pants, but

I love the pants, but i'm quite disappointed that they are not completely black, like in the pics. They have a checkered pattern on them, with different color stitching than black. Would've been nice to know prior to getting them.

No durability

These pants fit well look great in the pockets are laid out perfectly for me. With that said, I have only used these pants a few times since 2023 walking to my Deerstand about 100 yards away from the house. There is already a whole worn through the crotch. There are better options for hunting pants at Walmart for a fraction of the cost, but with infinitely better durability.

Good pant with pockets in all the right places

I have worn them on 4 whitetail and 3 sika hunts and they hold up well. Not sure you would want to go crashing through super thick brush with them. They are quiet and fit really well.
