Straightline Field Jacket

Windproof & Durable 3-Layer Soft Shell

Sale price$300.00

COLOR:Dry Earth
SIZE:M

The prairie pothole region of North America is known to duck hunters for its world-class waterfowling. This landscape is very flat with rich soil, ideal for growing a buffet of crops that annually support over half of the hemisphere’s waterfowl migration. However, the lack of geological features makes the region especially prone to storms and ripping straight-line winds.

Agriculture + high winds are two optimal ingredients for a successful waterfowl hunt, so long as you have the right gear. Inspired by the harsh hunting conditions of the Dakotas, the Straightline Field Jacket is 100% windproof, highly water resistant, and sets a new industry standard for soft shell durability. The Straightline product family also includes a vest configuration. Check out the Straightline Field Vest here

This style wears in, not out. Go Farther, Stay Longer.

The model in the walk-on video is 5' 11" and 170 lbs, wearing a size Medium.

okay but needs work

This is a good start but looking at its competitors from other premium brands its hard to move in this. I waited a year hoping it would get more flexible and wanted to love it but dont.

Made for the Planter's Peanut guy?

First Lite's products are purpose-built but sizing is consistently chaotic. 6'2"", 170lbs Size: Med This thing is unbelievably tight in the armpits/across the chest. The bottom hangs like a lampshade.

Jacket is like a good woman!

Soft but strong. The texture of the jacket is like the old cathart plus sweatpants. Absolutely love it. I haven't had any trouble out of it other than I get to hot in it. If the temps are above 45 I can't wear it while moving. But that's a me issue. Took it to oregon and it stood up to the test of a monsoon. Did get wet but layout blinds plus rain, you are gonna get wet no matter what!

Best Jacket

I've used it so far for salmon fishing, and plan to use it pheasant hunting, and goose hunting in corn fields, it is very comfortable feel as if I am able to move freely. It is also a very sharp looking jacket.

Strong and comfortable

Jacket feels strong yet very comfortable, quality materials. Looking forward to putting it to the test this upcoming season. Love the camo pattern and happy to support the first lite team.
