Kelsey Morris never planned on becoming a Western artist—or a hunter. But when she moved to Montana to be with her now husband Seth, everything changed. Inspired by the landscape and fueled by an internal fire she built a career in Western realist art, while simultaneously discovering a passion for hunting—on her own terms. Over the years, one pursuit began to rival (yet compliment) the other: turkey hunting.
Now, after countless seasons in the West, Kelsey finally heads to Florida to chase the elusive Osceola turkey—a long-awaited trip that blends her love for art and hunting.

"Art can't happen in a vacuum. You need to go out and experience the world. So I like to spend as much time out in nature as possible. I like to let the painting come to me naturally by just spending time, you know, onsite with real people that are doing the real work and having that influence, the ideas that I get and ultimately the paintings that I make.”- Kelsey Morris
