This is my go-to call. I can manipulate bugles and chuckles with ease and spit a cow call when needed . I enjoy the metal "amp" because I think it makes a difference in sound and call structure.

Good call. do it all call. probably use the pink the most.

Great all around call. Sweet cow sounds and nice bugles. It's my go to when I'm not sure what sounds the elk will want.

The name of this reed is the juggernaut for a reason. Make cow calls with ease and when it comes time to lay the hammer down and start ripping bugles, the juggernaut can make those low deep grunts to high range location bugles.

This is my one and only diaghragm for the whole season. I start every season with 10 and never switch to different types. This past year I was excited to call in 2 bulls during a "quiet" year working them up from soft cow calls to final challenge bugles where both bulls were storming hot coming in.

This call definetly is easier to use and get younger bulls talking.

Better than expected!! This is the third brand I've tried. This call and the maverick are my "go to." Sounds great and easy to use.

I have used other brands of elk calls, one in particular, that I used exclusively, and recommended. That all has changed, the first call of a Phelps diaphragm, fresh out of the package, and my eyebrows raised. I have been using diaphragms, since the mid 80's, there is a new leader, IMO. The only calls I will use, going forward, are Phelps. The feedback I've gotten from others I have recommended them to, is that it was money well spent!

Ran the gauntlet of diaphragm calls since Wayne Carltons first ones. Finally switched to the palate plate' s from Phelps last September- had tried other brands and just couldn't get them to perform like i wanted. Wore out several of Dirk's and Jason's Signatures and had to finish season on a standard frame. Hands down, the best calls I've used in 40 years- buy enough to last a season
