The new FlashStorm Jacket is an ultralight, ultra-packable, weather-bucking shell for quick rain squalls and windy glassing knobs. Weighing in at 6.5 oz, the FlashStorm stows into its chest pocket and packs down to the size of a box of 12-gauge shells. The 3-layer, water-resistant construction is fully seam taped to stand up to sudden showers and blustery ridgelines. With big performance and negligible bulk, the FlashStorm will never leave your pack.

So far so good. Took it Elk bow hunting to use as an emergency rain while glassing and just because. Rain four days straight and it worked great when caught in sudden storms and when hiking over clear trails. Thought it would tear super easy, but the few times I accidentally brushed up against something, it did not. So it seems durable, will have to see how long the seems hold.
