Good pant

Haven't got a chance to test this pant out on the hunt yet, but it seems like a great pant for late spring/summer use

One of best pant

Love my 308 pant in conifer for every day work. I really enjoy the ability to choose waist and inseam for a better fit. I wish for all FL pants to offer that option.

Good pants

My first pair had an issue with the pocket zipper. Warranty replacement arrived in less than a week, just before a hunt I had planned. Good on firstlite for standing behind a product. As far as performance, I've used these in warm weather (75F) and didn't find them too hot (even when I forget to open the zip vents). They're thick enough that they're warm in the 30's. The fit is generous enough to not fight you as you move, but its not baggy enough to get caught on brush. The fabric feels nice and durable. I still recommend wearing gaiters with these though.

These are THE pants

High quality material, rich color that doesn't fade and fully functional pockets. Highly recommend for any outdoorsman, hiker, hunter, tree climber and more.

Positive disconfirmation

I'm 6'1"" and 235lbs with an unappetizing butt to gut ratio. I ordered pants sized in 36"" X 34"" and the girth was spot on, but I must admit, First Lite is the first company I've encountered that gives you a solid 35"" when they only advertise 34"" for length. This leads me to believe they have a liberal interpretation of where the base is, but in an opposite direction of traditional thinking. Congratulations, good sir! I think the 36""X32"" pant would have been spot on for me. I measured my other pants that I typically wear (Levi's, Ariat, Noble, etc) and when they say they're 34"" long, they're only around 32"" in length, rascals. The 308 pants move very well with the body and I often have to look down to make sure I'm still wearing pants and not living out a Winnie the pooh like nightmare, terrifying my coworkers from my waist down. These pants have the feel of those 'oh-so-thin' hiking pants with an SPF rating, but leave a little more to the imagination when stretched taught across the upper quadrant, like cotton or denim pants do. I certainly wouldn't want to wade through a briar patch in these pants, but they'll be great for hiking and hunting in more open woods. I also like the sleek look of the pants and often wear them to the office. With features like these, I'm not sure why I would ever own 3 pairs of equally functional pants for the price, when I could own one pair of these. I'll certainly order another pair in the future.
