Dubbed "the Waterfowler's puffy", the Primer Jacket boasts an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio and packs down small enough to fit in your blind bag. Unlike traditional packable insulation, the Primer Jacket is constructed from a lightweight stretch nylon body fabric for an unrestricted range of motion and the durability to withstand seasons of abuse in the field.

The Primer Jacket is insulated with 80gsm of PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation and features a windproof membrane to keep hunters warm all season long. When the weather gets really wet and cold, this jacket becomes the warmest, most comfortable midlayer in your bag as it is designed to integrate with all our waterproof outerwear jackets.

Very warm lacks durability

Jacket is extremely warm and packable and definitely was surprised with the performance. The description states it can withstand years of abuse in the field. I know this isn't designed for walking through brush but my jacket had numerous snags from rubbing against a small amount of Velcro which surprised me. I'd recommend to a friend but with a warning in durability.

Comfy but lacks durability

This jacket fits great, is warm and super comfy. It is not durable. First day hunting in it, has snags all over it. Won't last long

Great jacket

1st thing I love this jacket very warm and light weight. The only issue I have been having is it is very easy to snag and gets the little strings hanging out of the fabric. All that being said still one of my favorite jackets and definitely recommend.

Amazing mid layer

Was in love with the challis for duck hunting. Purchased this one for the late season. Guess you can fall in love more than once!! Amazing piece
