So warm!

This hat is super warm and comfortable, the fit was perfect and it's a great hat to have on the damp and misty days, it keeps my head nice and dry.

Can't beat a Stormy Kromer hat

I just returned from a week of elk hunting in Montana in cold, snowy, wet weather. This hat performed well. It repelled rain and snow and was warm with the Aerowool liner. Your ears do not stay as warm when you pull the sides down as the wool version as it's just the waxed cotton covering your ears but when it gets that blistering cold it's time to put on my Furnace or Tundra Brim beanies anyhow. Very well made and will last for years.

Needs some improvement

The hat looks great. The wax canvas fabric looks really sharp. The Aerowool lining was very nice. However, the ear flaps are not lined, and they're very uncomfortable against your ears. This hat isn't warm enough for cold weather use. This hat would still work fine in mildly cold conditions and you're not interested in using the ear flaps
