Avid whitetailers in the humid Southeast have been asking us for a solution for truly hot, early-season hunts. We are proud to introduce the Trace System: a Quarter Zip top and pants purpose-built for hunts when humidity and temperature both crest 90. Constructed with porous yet durable KineticGrid™ fabric and treated with HeiQ Pure Odor Control Technology, this system offers maximum breathability and odor control in a silent, ultralight package. Whether you are hunting South Carolina’s August whitetail opener or baking in an archery blind waiting on an antelope, the Trace System will keep you cool and comfortable.

The Trace Pant features top and side entry cargo pockets that are accessible while sitting. The zippered side-entry cargo pocket also doubles as a second vent for maximum airflow when used in conjunction with the hip vents. Zippered rear wallet pockets provide additional secure storage. Jean-style front pockets have a built-in knife sleeve for easy access to your pocket knife, and the integrated low-profile belt is pack-belt compatible.

The model in the walk-on video is 5' 11" and 170 lbs, wearing a size 32/32. The Trace Pant features an Athletic Fit.

I have used these pants for the past 3 archery elk seasons in VERY hot & dry conditions. Overall they are quiet and light. The front pockets have zippers on either side that help to dump heat while hiking up steep terrain. one of the zippers does not have mesh though, which leaves the pocket completely open if you have it unzipped...which will let everything fall out of your pocket. Sort of confusing. Also, the belt is absolute rubbish. If it had a fix-lock mechanism for the webbing, it would be great. As is, it slips all the time and is pretty much useless. I cut mine off finally and resorted to wearing a leather belt, which sucks when you have a bunch of meat on your pack. Overall, these are a good pair of pants that has smashed through sagebrush or scruboak day in and day out.

I bought this set for September Elk. I put them through some rough hikes through buck brush, dense aspen trees, willow bushes, almost everything you can throw at them in Idaho backcountry. They developed some pilling after a week of use and continued to sort of wear out as the month went on. After about 15 days of continuous use they’ve got a hole and seem pretty worn down. I don’t think I’d purchase these again. I’d go with The Foundry’s or something similar. I do like the side zips. That was put to use soon as I got out into the field.

Does great on early season archery in Texas. Still in the 90s these have kept me cool. Not great in scent control so make sure you play the wind.

Torn a hole in them the first day out. I love them just wish they were a little more durable. Great for hot weather hunting though.
