Sizing boot gaiters can be a bit tricky.

Generally, if you wear full boots (Kenetreks, Danners, Lowas) and/or have large calves (size 10 and bigger) you will likely want to go with the LG.

If you have smaller feet or calves (size 9 and smaller) or wear a lighter boot or trail shoe (Salomon, La Sportiva) you will want to go with the SM.

I am unfortunately in the process of returning both a medium and large pair of these. Neither of them fit either me or my wife, we couldn't get them to fully wrap around our calfs. This is definitely disappointing as the products seemed well made otherwise, and we associate the brand with quality. If other sizes were available we definitely would have attempted an exhange.

Nice product, but even the L/XL is too small for anyone that doesn’t have chicken bone legs.

These gaiters have been a staple of my backcountry kit since I bought my first pair 4 years ago. They have taken a beating and stood up to just about everything the Alaskan rainforest has been able to throw at them. They are simple to put on and take off, secure, and most importantly, they actually keep your boots dry. I bought a second pair to keep in my truck just in case, even though my first pair is still holding strong.
