The three-layer laminate construction blocks wind and water, while mapped ear panels retain critical hearing. A flip-away brim blocks the sun when hiking, glassing, or watching the sky, while protecting the field of vision when the precipitation is whipping. Rounded out with a 37.5 fleece, actively managing internal moisture and infrared heat, this beanie is a mid and late-season solution to anything Mother Nature throws at you.

This is my second first light beanie

This is my second first light beanie . My first lasted years until I lost on a hunting trip . The warmth for thickness ratio is unbeatable. I can ware it alone or with a large brimmed hat when glassing . When not needed , it takes almost no pack room . Excellent product.

I love it. I wear it most days when it's cooler. It's my new fav. I'm bald so it works for me all the time. You should make a lighter one for summer!

Perfect little cap

I bought this little beanie for my Turkey hunting husband. Because we live in Georgia, the early mornings are still nice and crisp during Turkey season. Not only does this soft, moldable cap cover his mug perfectly, but the brim makes it just the most versatile thing ever. It can block the sun, shield his face, and look ultra cool while doing so. When the brim is not wanted, it can easily be flipped up to surprisingly revel ""First Lite"" inscribed underneath. I bought the XL b/c I thought my man had a big mug. It fits him VERY nicely, but somehow even fits me too. JOY!!! Perfect cap all around. GREAT company. Wonderful customer service team. Very pleased with everything purchased here.

Too small

Mid season waterfowl. I'll try this hat but my initial thoughts are that it is too small. My head is very average in size and I barely got the beanie on. I ordered the lg/ xl. It does go down over my ears and tries to stay there. So far I'm pulling it down a lot. Not as good as I expected.
