Tailored for mid to late season, the Core Kit brings a new level of versatility and technology for the heart of the whitetail season. With First Lite’s standard KitLinkTM pass-thru magnetic pockets, you have seamless integration with the Core Jacket and Bib’s muff pocket. 

The Core Vest is constructed with 80gsm of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation and windproof technology to keep you more comfortable and in the stand longer on the most blustery of days.

The versatile Core System is optimized for performance through the core of many hunters’ deer seasons; hunts from late October through November when the mornings are frosty and northern winds bring signs of winter. Windproof and Dead Silent. Why so expensive

Love your products but you are getting to high with the price, 300$ for a vest come on! You are catering to the rich a holes. Iam a heavy equipement operator who makes about 300 dollars a day . It's hard to comprehend spend a days wages on a vest. Help the working men and women out , lower your prices, iam wearing first lite gear from 5 years ago,

Home run! Feature rich ! I plan on keeping this in my pack at all times and use as a layering peice under my new phase jacket . This should help me cover the majority of the Oklahoma deer season

Awesome Vest

I received this as a gift from my wife this past christmas and only got to try it out once before whitetail closed. On a breezy, 30* & sunny day in the woods, I sat for about 6 hours with this vest, no name hunting sweatshirt, kiln thermal, and an UA thermal. I did not get cold whatsoever. I was extremely impressed! I'd imagine if I paired this with a Furnace hoody underneath, I will likely never need a jacket for my central VA conditions. My only drawback on this vest is that for bow hunters, depending on torso build, you might have issues with finding your anchor point with your release. I use a thumb release and with the vest zipped up all the way, the vest neck collar sat right where my anchor point is. Simply unzipping it enough to tuck the neck collar under itself fixed the problem, but something worth noting. Outside of that, it is a great vest. Highly recommend if your goal is to stay warm without looking like the Michelin Man!

This vest is Warm and even Hot! Love it in Cold weather. Quiet. Perfect for a bow hunter that likes free arms. Get it. You won't regret it.

Perfect for early season sits

I went out on a warmer day but as temps dropped I wish I had a little something extra that wasn't too bulky. Sitting in the saddle dangling from the tree and the wind really picked up. I literally ordered this while sitting there shivering wishing I had something else. The next weekend I got to take it out and under the same conditions it proved to be that layer I really needed. Not sacrificing mobility, drawing the bow was a breeze. This vest has all the feature. The pass through pockets are my favorite. I got a medium, it's a little tight but I wanted it for layering. 5'10"" 180lbs.
