Waterfowlers are notoriously hard on their gear, and we built the Forge Waders to withstand seasons of abuse from hardcore hunters by eliminating the most failure points with a never-before-seen one-piece design and minimal seaming. Simplicity was the inspiration behind designing a wader that failed less, but that didn't stop us from loading the Forge Waders with features like the exclusive LaCrosse Alpha Wader boot, internally bonded neoprene knee pads, and Hypalon MOLLE platforms to customize your waders with accessories like FHF Gear pouches and shotshell holders. 

We spent more than four years building, testing, rebuilding, and retesting these waders across 11 states in the harshest environments we could find—because when it comes to waterfowl gear, we know that “failure” simply isn’t an option.

The waders are amazing. The boots are very rugged and will make it easy to walk on moss covered rocks. They are very comfortable and seem to be very durable

The new First Lite Forge Waders are hands down the best waders Ive worn in 20 plus years of waterfowl hunting all throughout the country. From the one piece construction, the taller boot, to the O Therm AeroGel integrated knee pads and seat. These are true game changers!

These things are pretty fantastic. I am 6’1” and 215lbs (should be 190) and ordered LG-RG with a size 12 boot. They fit perfectly with plenty of room for layers underneath and the boot is exactly my regular shoe size. I always stress out about waders fitting with a t-shirt on but having no room for anything else but it’s almost feels like First Lite took that into account when they designed these things. I have waders that I love from other companies but these just feel burlier and sturdier. My only regret is not waiting until the Season Opener Sale and getting the wader bag with them! Definitely worth the investment.

I've been waiting for these waders for years at this point. At first look they have lived up to the hype. I love the integrated molle panel, zippers for phone/wallet, and overall feel of the material. The boots are the most comfortable wader boots I've tried on, and look like they will hold up. I originally bought an MDR 11 and had to exchange them for a MDT 11. Being 6'2 the inseam was a bit short.
