I bought these for two uses. Early season whitetail hunting and back country hiking to photograph elk. They have performed beautifully. Light and warm for those 40 degree mornings where it will warm up to 60. And add a base layer for the days it stays colder. This was a great buy

After years of wearing my go to bulky, but still old time sales rack favs from when I first started hunting circa 1990, I decided to drop some coin on some new age modern duds. A 2025 family trip out west opened my eyes to the need to upgrade after stepping foot in the Meat Eater store in Bowsman, MT. My big mistake was not purchasing then and there then having it shipped home, why cause MT doesn’t have a sales tax, plus being overwhelmed with the hunting goods in the quaint perfect sized shop. Fast forward, the seed was planted, my eyes open, I cruised the First Lite site, straight to the sales rack and reviews to determine selection and fit, vitally important. Placed my order got my goods, in under a week. I grew up in the department store days, the one thing I thought was old school cool was the tissue paper that falls out when unfolding the merch, you just don’t see that anymore. All my order fit as expected, quality and Cipher camo pattern will make a fashion statement lol for sure in the hardwoods of Western NY. The pants sized M with suspenders for that Adirondack feel. There’s enough room for thermals as needed 5’ 8”, 185. Now waiting for cooler temps to field test. I like the product.

These pants are great. Plenty flexible for climbing trees. I’m 6’3” 190lbs and I wear 34” pants. The medium fits me perfect. Slim, but enough room to throw a couple of layers underneath them need be.
