The Thermic jacket is purpose-built for bitterly cold days in the treestand or blind and is the coldest weather component of the First Lite whitetail outerwear kit. It's built using 170 gsm PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, sherpa fleece lining, and windproof technology to keep you more comfortable and maximize warmth. Additionally, it's ultra-quiet, durable, water-resistant, and includes our improved windproof technology. The Thermic Jacket is packed with whitetail features, including treestand-specific pocketing, harness pass-thru, removable hood with contoured collar, and new and improved magnetic KitLink™ system. This bomber cold-weather jacket insulates exceptionally well, blocks the wind, allows ease of movement, and wears like iron.

Im 5’10” 215. Stocky build. I purchased the thermic jacket and thermic bib both in size L. Fit is perfect for me. I debated on XL jacket since my shoulders and chest are a little thicker but Large was the way to go for me atleast. XL would have swallowed me. I haven’t gotten a true extreme cold test. I have sat in temps that started the morning at 24 and had warmed to around 50 by the evening. Very comfy at cold temperature. I stayed cozy all morning. At 50 degrees it was almost too hot. I had to shed the coat in favor of a hoodie. All I had on was a single midweight merino wool base layer top and bottom. I didn’t feel bound up like some heavy weight cold gear I’ve worn. There is room to move in this but its not necessarily loose fitting . Its not bulky but if you’re gonna do any walking to get to your stand you will want to pack it in. You will sweat in not time. I have a badlands 2200 pack and I can get the bibs and jacket in the pack with no problem. I Love the front magnetic opening for access to the hand pocket in the front of the bibs. I used one regular pocket hand warmer. Didn’t even use gloves. It heated the whole front of the jacket. Material is silent and appears to be durable and high quality. Access to pockets and magnetic opening are silent. Magnet opening in front of jacket is probably the most awesome feature and it makes no noise and seals up perfectly to keep heat in when you do have your hands in it. I also like the fact it’s not bulky in the sleeves so it’s good for bow or gun hunting. Overall very well pleased, I purchased when they had the 40% off sale. So $600 for the set seams like it was well worth it at this point. Very pleased
