Warm!!

I hunt the northeast kingdom of Vermont up around 1900 feet and this jacket paired with the bibs were toasty!! Shorts and a long sleeve is all I needed for a base at 15 degrees!! Well worth the money! Great for sitting and being in the windy ladder stand or sitting in the snow watching a ridge line.

Late season

Great gear. Paired with the thermic bibs I stayed warm during late season archery. Fabric is quiet, durable, and layout is functional. Pass through pockets allowed me to access pockets on bibs.

Had to return, needs upgrades.

Even though First Lite seems to have the best features for Whitetail Hunting, and has primaloft gold, the full Thermic set was not warm enough for me (im 6'2"" 180lb thin build and get cold easy even with proper layering, maybe i need solid wool long underwear,) I tried it this winter in western Wisconsin and I still got cold sitting with 4 layers on in temps under 30° with wind, though it is the warmest I've tried thus far, having not tried Sitka. I love the fleece but the weight of this set is really heavy and I tried attach. to my backpack and it made the climb up 400 ft elev change to ridgetops very hard! It needs to be lighter if possible! I realized that as neat as the Specter Camo choice is, it does not match the woods in Western or Central Wisconsin at all. I stick out like a sore thumb! I keep telling companies we need more Grey! Once fall is over and youd need a late season kit like this, the only color is 90%+ Grey hardwood bark, the same color as deer! The other 5% is brown maybe and 5% or less of blacks, greens and tans or other colors. This set needs another camo option other then Specter that has grey as a primary color, come on its common sense if you've been in any hardwood woods. Loveeee the magnetic pockets but all the pockets should be magnetic!! The hood needs a drawstring or adjustment. All zippers need to be improved in quality and durability and better yet rubber waterproof zips. The 2 inside elastic pockets should be made twice that size to actually fit something. The large back elastic pocket I couldn't figure out, is it meant to be a dump pocket? If so it needs to be made twice that size, it couldn't even fit my gloves. 1 single grunt tube pocket would be great somewhere. The kit-link is nice with a megawarmer but im not sure I prefer it or gloves. Its strange everything is aimed at people with binocular harness's too when nobody uses them in thick woods but whatever. And dont expect to try it out in the field unless you dont plan on seeing a deer, if you wash it or de-scent it, it cant be returned, which First Lite needs a solution for. Other then that it is a great hunting coat. Just needs improvements again or a rebuild with other camo options or an entirely new model.

Improves on the last gen whitetail line

Improves on solitude/sancutary 2.0. Magnetic kitlink isoversold but improves on the zippered design. Cuffs are navigable, handwarmer pockets are usable. Worn over solitude 2.0 bibs in ~14F
