Built for rugged use and maximum protection, the Shale Gaiters are constructed with a waterproof upper, durable ballistic nylon lower, and replaceable rubber cinch boot straps for long-lasting performance in the field. The full-length hook-and-loop closure provides a secure fit and easy access, while the durable construction protects your boots and pants against snow, moisture, brush, mud, and abrasion. The Shale Gaiters provide lock-down protection and performance in the most demanding environments, where durability and weatherproofing matter most.

Measure under arms at the fullest part of the chest. Ensure the tape measure is level across the back and comfortably loose.

Measure circumference around the narrowest part of waist.

HIP:

Measure circumference around the fullest point of hip/seat with feet together.

INSEAM:

Without shoes, measure on inside of leg from crotch to the floor.

How to Measure - Hats

Sizing Note:

Sizing boot gaiters can be a bit tricky.

Generally, if you wear full boots (Kenetreks, Danners, Lowas) and/or have large calves (size 10 and bigger) you will likely want to go with the LG. 

If you have smaller feet or calves (size 9 and smaller) or wear a lighter boot or trail shoe (Salomon, La Sportiva) you will want to go with the SM.
