This vest is plenty comfortable and there is room for all of the essentials. The built in seat is thick and comfortable, too. My main complaints are the placement of the ports for the hydration hose, a minor wish for the pockets, and the structure of the vest with an item in the storage area on the back. The holes for the hose from a water bladder are on the sides at the lower portion of the compartment. It makes for a very clunky setup. Every other hydration compatible pack i have has the port right at the top of the pack. With this, the hose runs out the side and theres not a great way to cleanly route it to the front. Also, with a decoy in the storage pouch on the back, it sort of collapses the back panel and makes it awkward to put the vest on without completely loosening the straps. Lastly, the storage pouches are ok and have room for everything. I kind of wish the special pockets for the pot call strikers were reversed. It'd be easier to insert them front to back. Also, if there was a way to access the pocket silently rather than the zipper, i think it would be a little better. Overall I think its a pretty solid piece, and will be in my rotation, just could use some tweaks.

The design needs work.. the vest is too short the shoulder straps need to be adjustable.
Inside pockets on the vest would also be nice.

Man…. First off. I love your gear for whitetail. Absolutely love it. I was really excited to try this vest for turkey hunting but boy was I let down with this. First, the front pockets have absolutely ZERO room for calls or gear. Wanna store more than one pot call??? Good luck. You can’t. Wanna bring a few different strikers??? Nope can’t do that either. Also, the goal in the seat is awful. You cannot sit in this thing longer than 20 mins without your butt going completely numb. The box call pouch is also way too small and with a regular size Woodhaven box call the pouch lid doesn’t even come close to closing.

For the price of this vest I would expect some serious and I mean serious improvements as far as gear storage and comfort goes. Also you will have some serious trouble fitting two decoys in the back pouch. I will be getting rid of this vest and going back to my alps outdoors vest. Very very let down first lite. Like I said. Love and will continue to use your whitetail stuff but will never even consider another turkey vest from you unless some serious improvements are made.
