At a featherweight 12 ounces, this hooded two-layer rain jacket is the best of both worlds. Like its big brother, the Omen Stormshelter Jacket, the Vapor features the Turret Hood and waterproof zippers.

Not waterproof…barely even water resistant. If you sit on a wet seat in the boat it soaks right through the pants almost immediately . Light to moderate rain soaks right through in 1-2 minutes. Used it on an elk hunting trip in Idaho and was extremely disappointed. I took it into their flagship store in Hailey Idaho and showed an employee. He said “that sucks” and walked me over to the rain gear section and started showing me more rain gear to purchase. Yeah dude I’m gonna spend another $400+ on rain gear when the first set I bought doesn’t work 👎. It’s a shame because I thought there other products were good. This was my last Firstlite purchase and I’ve turned a few other people away as well. Buyer beware.
