Any backcountry hunter will tell you that carrying a solid rain jacket is a necessary evil, but nobody enjoys the added weight of your average rain jacket. We designed the Vapor Stormlight Rain Jacket as a no-frills, bomber ultralight rain jacket that can keep you dry without filling your pack. At a featherweight 12 ounces, this hooded two-layer rain jacket is the best of both worlds. Like its big brother, the Omen Stormshelter Jacket, the Vapor features the Turret Hood and waterproof zippers.

Too fragile any type of hunting

Vapor storm light

I bought this jacket in 11–22. It had good reviews. I'm not an avid hunter, but I wanted some quality gear to keep me dry.I work outside a lot so I wanted something I could throw in the backseat of my truck case the bottom falls out. I haven't really used it that much, but it started delaminating and the sleeves back of the neck as much as I paid for it. I was assuming it would probably last a little longer. I have some of their base layers and I love those I would not buy again

Works Well

Yesterday I took a trip down the Yellowstone river to go morel hunting. It rained pretty hard for most of the day and I stayed dry. I am also 6'6"" tall so it was nice having rain gear that actually fits.

perfect weight

This piece of raingear is very lightweight and very packable. I have not tried to pack it as small as possible, but should easily pack down to the size of two cans of soda. It will be a great addition to my kit, for those sudden bursts of rain.

Comfortable and Dry

I went one season without this jacket, never again. This is must have for western Washington when the temps are too warm for anything heavier. It is very light, doesn't restrict movement, and takes up very little space in a pack.
