Tailored for mid to late season, the Core Kit brings a new level of versatility and technology for the heart of the whitetail season. With First Lite’s standard KitLinkTM pass-thru magnetic pockets, the Women's Core Jacket integrates seamlessly with the Women's Core Bib’s muff pocket.

The Women's Core Jacket is constructed with 80gsm Body / 60gsm sleeves of PrimaLoft® Gold insulation and windproof technology to keep you more comfortable and in the stand longer, on the most blustery of days.

The versatile Core System is optimized for performance through the core of many hunters’ deer seasons; hunts from late October through November when the mornings are frosty and northern winds bring signs of winter. Windproof and Dead Silent. Fully-featured. Seamless integration. Women's Core Jacket

Finally a late season jacket designed for the female bowhunter in mind! The kitlink pass through system is a must for late season when using hands warmers. Definitely a game changer. Love that the material isn’t bulky and it’s really quiet which has been hard to find in a late season jacket in previous years. Definitely one of my favorite pieces to wear.

Great Jacket, sizing was tricky

I am 5'&"" and around 130lbs, and nearly always wear a small or medium (depending my layering needs). I ordered a medium since I knew I wanted the option to layer my origin hoodie under it. Before ordering I was torn on getting a mens small or the women's sizing, but decided to pursue the women's size. To my surprise the women's medium did not fit me! I couldn't even get the jacket to fully zip up, as it was very constricted at my neck, as well as my upper arms. I am not busty, but have broad shoulders, so maybe that is why this neck issue happened? I returned the jacket and ordered a large, and the fit was better The stomach area is a tad roomier than I'd prefer, but everywhere else fits well. I enjoy the features and LOVE the hole for the FAS harness, so I can hike out with the jacket off, then throw it on once I'm in my stand. The magnet holes are great for slipping my hands inside to keep them warm. Excited to get more field use next winter.

Finally

I bought two full sets (light & heavy bibs/pants/jackets) of gear a few years ago (because I loved what my husband had bought from FL) and remember being incredibly frustrated that the women's line was so much less thought out and how odd the fit was for a ""women's fit"" (plus the women's line didn't come in the specter pattern). When I saw this line come out, it was good news/bad news-- here goes another $1,000+ to buy everything new in the specter pattern, but hopefully it fits better, is more practical, and keeps me warmer than the last set. Thankfully, it does. It took a while for FL to figure this out- but I am happy to say that they have. I've used this set a handful of times already and am happy to share that the Core Jacket & Bibs are great, fit way better than past women's pants/bibs/jackets, and include all of those practical benefits that the men's gear does.

Awesome Jacket

Ive used this coat three times this year already and it so warm coming from someone who runs cold. The fit is a little tight and I sized up so keep that in mind. I wore the furnace hoody underneath in 40 degree weather and I was very comfortable. Definitely recommend!
