This hoody is a staple from early season to late season. It's super comfortable, does well wicking sweat and drying. The updated women's fit is great, I'm 5'10" 165 lbs with long arms and the women's large fits me perfectly.
The Navigator Hoody is perfect as a standalone piece to take the chill off whether it be during turkey season, shooting your bow, or early whitetail season. As a mid layer it's perfect since the cuffs are snug to eliminate bulk when layering above it. The fleece lining makes it really comfortable, and the quarter zip is perfect for when the temperatures rise. It has the slightest bit of brushing noise to it, but since the material is flexible it's still quiet when drawing your bow.
Very happy to see this piece come out in a women's version. It's like a technical hoody. Very comfy & cozy with the fleece lining and kangaroo pocket, but with a more technical, outward facing 'shell'. The material is very quiet, but not dead silent. It doesn't make 'swishy' noise like a shell would though. I'm enjoying it as an outer layer on chilly spring mornings & looking forward to running it as a middle layer under bibs in the treestand later in the season. I really love the Walnut color. It has much less of a 'blue' undertone than Ash Grey so I think its a little more 'earth' tone. I hope there will be more pieces coming to the Women's line in this color and Dark Earth.
