One of the main things missing from so many bino harnesses is (in my opinion) some useable, standard size molle attachment points somewhere other than on the bottom. My Pro-M harness is great, but I need to be able to carry an extra pistol mag, flashlight, multitool, rangefinder, etc etc depending on what my hunt or scout requires. The Foundation Wings are perfect for this extra gear. I attached a Condor double pistol mag pouch to one wing (the Condor coyote color matches the FHF coyote almost perfectly, btw) for mag/tool/light carry and so far the other side is blank while I decide what pouch to put there for my rangefinder. I also found that my KaBar TDI sheath clips on quite nicely there as well. So basically the options are endless, which is a really nice change from the frustration of trying to keep all that stuff in my pockets or on the waist belt of my pack. The install on the Pro-M was easy, and I like the quick connect clips that hang the wings from the foundation. I'll probably cut off the redundant female buckles and replace them with quick connect buckles in case I want to be able to run the harness without the wings again, but the ability to take those buckles off when using the wings will allow for small items like mini-light, lens pen, etc to be stashed in the leftover loop. The wings are comfortable against my ribcage thanks to the honeycomb backing material and they stay out of the way of my pack straps though YMMV depending on your pack and body. The molle seems standard size and took straps well, allowing a nice weave. OK, so here's what could be better. Really, nothing about the actual wings themselves... they work great. But maybe the next gen could have some velcro molle instead of the laser cut for attaching patches, hook backed pouches, or a tearaway med kit, etc. It might also be cool to have the option to put another wing behind (or below!)... perhaps some loops on both sides, top, and bottom that would allow wings to be chained or stacked using the quick clips. Such a design might also open up the possibility hanging a holster or bear spray off to one side rather than directly under the bino pouch. BUT, until then I love these wings and I'm stoked to use them this season. Keep it up, FHF!
