I have purchased several other first lite beanies but the weight of this this one is by far my favorite. Creates no pressure points and completely covers my ears.

First bit of kit I reach for when the temperature drops. Love the fit and the warmth-to-weight ratio is perfect. If it gets too warm, I just roll it up one and let the dogs out. Where it almost all day everyday in the winter in Wyoming.

This Merino wool beanie is an excellent item to wear when hunting the cold blustery days during the late season. The beanie is very warm and the form, fit and functionality is excellent. I would recommend this item to others and I will buy another one for windy conditions.

I bought 4 of these for my two brothers, brother in law and myself. SD was ranging -5 to -20 degrees. The hat was great, they each thanked me and commented how it kept the cold out. 4 days, 4 guys, negative temp., pheasant hunt in SD. All good. Thankyou. - Jason T.

Good quality and no issues there, but it's still a little long for me. If I pull it all the way down right I have to flip it up for about an inch ""flap"" like a cuff beanie. Didn't want this to do that but they can't make it to fit every head shape I guess. Otherwise it's great and I'll be using it a bunch.
