Overall, decent bag for very specific situational use, I just wish it were bigger and FHF or FirstLite offered more waterfowling-specific attachment options. I bought it for a walk-in bag, and I kind of regret that as it is probably going to become just another boat bag. For my use, a motion decoy holder on one side would be nice. And then the whole back side facing away from you as you wear it I feel is wasted space without more molle panel. For my attachments I got the water bottle holder for one side and on the other I was able to get it to work with the FHF sling that straps my gun to my bag. No more worrying about my gun taking a bath if I slide off balance into a carp hole or bending over to pick up dead ducks and decoys. Having two hands totally free and no worry about my gun is pretty huge for me and worth probably 2 of the 3 stars I've given, but ran me another $70 for some nylon straps and a couple of buckles. I knew like others said it wouldn't be waterproof enough to just throw down in the marsh--that's not a huge deal to me as some folded over cattails plus a floating decoy bag have proven to hold it up out of waist-deep water thus far, even when loaded with 2+ boxes of shells, some extra layers, snacks, and a 32oz Nalgene. I just wish it were bigger. Hunting with 2+ people I'll haul in our shells and other gear and my buddy hauls the decoys. Solo, you won't be fitting more than 2, 3 decoys in this thing, tops, so find another way to carry decoys or pick another bag for that scenario. Yeah, I know the interior is not made for that, but something that stays pretty dry most days like a spinning wing will fit at the cost of taking up 50%+ of the bag volume. The strap on top is a nice plus, I keep my rain jacket rolled up there. Maybe I just screwed up and bought the wrong bag, but I would love a bag like this that's 2x the width and just unzips at the top, picture like a big pack of smokes, so it could just stand in 2ft of water and still be fine, while being able to carry a lot more gear.
