This was my 3rd time using this pack running public land. Here in south Louisiana. Well it rained today and when I got home there was standing water in my pack. Had the pack under a tree. At least I got to my ammo before it got messed up!

Comments about Ground Control Pack

I finally got a chance to test this pack over the holidays. Hunted with it a bunch. Holds my chest pack, mojo, extra shells, calls, and an extra layer. Also, I was able to pack it up with extra shells for three of us - my boys and me. I really like the drawstring shell holders, which I thought were useless until I used them, and it carries well when loaded up. Haven't been caught in a big rain in it yet, but I had it sitting in water, and everything stayed dry. I'm a wetlands ecologist, so I will be using it a bunch for work, also, after hunting season is over. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I haven't used it enough to fully test it, yet.

Good pack, so far.

Comments about Ground Control Pack

After a year of debating on buying this bag ,I finally listened to my instincts and went all in.The multiple ways to tote the bag make it easier to carry decoys and shotgun while tackling brush walking to the duck the duck hole before first lite.the inside offers enough compacts for shells, extra clothes ,1 motion decoy and still have room to pack water and snacks.im very pleased with this product.no issues with water seeping into the bag either.

I love this bag! I love how many handles it has and different ways you can carry the bag. I also like the strap that goes over the top of the bag. I use it to strap down a chair to my bag. Secondly, I really like how water resistant it is. It definitely came in handy at the marsh today. It also floats if you don't overload the bag. The inside has tons of space and different ways to organize things. Overall, it's a great bag! My only complaint with the bag is the bottom right corner of the bag tends to poke me in the rolls

Comments about Ground Control Pack

My son has had this pack for almost a year now and it has been by far the best pack that we have ever owned in over 40 years of duck hunting. I was so impressed with it and how well it performs out in the marsh that I bought me one too. There is absolutely no water that gets in to this pack and I would highly recommend buying it.

I love the bag. It is a great size and has very useful features. But during rains it will leak water. During a hunt of constant heavy rain, everything in the bag was soaked. Water standing in the bag. I know it is not suppose to be water tight, but it should be able to repel rain.

I just purchased this bag and i took it on the first hunt with it this morning… all i can say is save your money people. This bag more than disappointed me. I put the bag in the hull of the decoy sled that maybe have 1-2 inches of water in it and by the time i got to the hole it had done leaked and soaked both of my boxes, gloves and beanie. i have had $50 blind bags do 10x better than this pack. First lite you need to step up your game and stop false advertising about this pack.

Q&A

Q

Does this bag float and is there any sort of accessory to attach a shotgun to the side of the pack?

Asked by Hunter
Verified Reply - NathanThough the Ground Control Pack will float if empty, zipped closed, and placed within the water--I personally would recommend utilizing this pack in this way as you may experience water penetration at the zipper location after extending periods of submersion. As of this point in time, we do not offer an accessory that will attach a shotgun to the Ground Control Pack.
