By far the best base layer you need. Coldest weather I have wore them 22 temp, under waders, kiln top, origin hoodie with waterfowl parka, was so cozy I fell asleep duck hunting. True to size.
I operate at a high body temperature and it doesn't take much for me to get sweaty. These are easy to put on and take off to regulate my body temperature. I especially love them for my approach to my treestand. Being bold and starting cold is easy breezy in these long Johns. The only thing I'd change is having a duel zipper system that way you could partially unzip and vent, pairing these with the 308 pants is a strong recommendation.
I bought these for my son's bday - he likes First Lite products so he's excited to try them. Will know better in September!
