Dubbed "the Waterfowler's puffy", the Primer Vest boasts an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio and packs down small enough to fit in your blind bag. Unlike traditional packable insulation, the Primer Vest is constructed from a lightweight stretch nylon body fabric for an unrestricted range of motion and the durability to withstand seasons of abuse in the field.
The Primer Vest is insulated with 80gsm of PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation and features a windproof membrane to keep hunters warm all season long. When the weather gets really wet and cold, this vest becomes the warmest, most comfortable midlayer in your bag as it is designed to integrate with all our waterproof outerwear jackets.

Love the fit and comfort. Warmth is more impressive than I expected. Biggest issue is rapid pilling and snagging of fabric. Albeit something bound to happen, a bit alarming how fast/easily it did.
I got this vest on Christmas and have not worn this out in the field yet. just to the office while it has been cold. The vest has frayed so much in less than 1 month it is unreal. there are several small pilings and now snags from where it has frayed throughout the jacket. I have seen Walmart vests hold up better than this. Save your money.
Great for under my jacket for mid-late deer season hunts and around town in the fall and spring. Favorite part are the high hand pockets, more comfortable than expected. 6'1"", 190 lbs, size L
The lightest weight, warmest vest on the market!!
I got this vest to be a layering garment when I need more warmth out waterfowl hunting. It has absolutely lived up to my requirements, and adds the right amount of warmth, without too much bulk. And as a plus, it's nice looking for everyday use as well.
